One suggestion I have found is to use iTunes but I am not sure when I last had a computer with iTunes on as everything is done with the iPad Pro or the iPhone now. I tried the restart (up volume down volume then hold power) and just get stuck in a loop of the phone turning off and starting up again and sticking on the apple logo.

The Norton and LifeLock Brands are part of NortonLifeLock Inc. However, on my computer, in Norton 360, I do have the Network Trust set to "restricted".Īny help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks. So has there been an update to Power Eraser that has caused it to start flagging legitimate files (I've ran it many times in the past and it has never flagged any files), or do I have some kind of malware that is either inserting itself into legitimate files or disguising itself as a legitimate file? Coincidentally (or not so coincidentally?) someone in my household got a used laptop that they connected to the wifi for the first time last night.so that has me worried. I don't know why Power Eraser chose to flag the particular copies that it did? Each one of these files is followed by a unique series of letters and numbers and there are many copies of each file. For example, IG-22.EXE (which is supposedly a Malwarebytes file), UISTUB.EXE (supposedly a Norton file), and TECORESIDENT.EXE (supposedly a Toshiba file). So I've tried Googling the file name and so far all the files that Power Eraser has flagged appear to be legitimate files. If I do a Norton cloud look up it says there isn't enough information available about the file.
Hello eveyone! My issue started last night.when I run Power Eraser (the system scan or rootkit scan) it has started flagging files in the Windows Prefetch folder.
